The Nordic Inn is nestled between Loon and Cannon Mountains--two of New England's finest ski and summer recreational areas, and is centrally located on the Kancamagus Scenic Byway. We are very accessible and located just one mile east of Interstate Rte. 93 at mile marker 100.6.

Traveling to and from Canada
Beginning June 1, 2009, U.S. and Canadian citizens 19 years and older who enter the U.S. at land and sea ports of entry from within the Western Hemisphere will need to present government-issued photo ID, such as an enhanced driver's license or a passport as proof of identity. Children age 18 and under will be able to enter with proof of citizenship. Verbal claims of citizenship and identity alone will not be sufficient to establish identity and citizenship for entry into the United States.
U.S. resident aliens will also need a Green Card.
All other foreign country residents will need their valid passport with I94 document. If you are crossing the American/Canadian border and do not have your I94 document with you, you will need your valid passport and a visa. There will be a nominal fee to prepare the I94 documentation for you.

Travel by motorcoach is the greenest way to travel according to Getting there Greener, a recent study conducted by the Union of Concerned Scientists, comparing energy consumption, ridership (passenger miles), and CO2 emissions for autos, passenger trains, and motorcoaches. Why would anyone drive? As part of its ongoing efforts to promote energy efficiency and the use of mass transit, the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) this summer will connect its popular Hiker Shuttle with two bus stops served by Concord Coach Lines in Lincoln and North Conway, NH. "We are extending the reach of the AMC Hiker Shuttle to make it even easier for hikers to plan a visit to AMC's huts while leaving the car behind, saving gas, and reducing their carbon footprint," said AMC Vice President for Outdoor Program Centers Paul Cunha.
